Mid-Autumn Festival 12:04 AM

Mid-Autumn Festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month in the Lunar calendar. As part of the Chinese culture, it is on this day that we eat mooncakes and light up the lanterns.

There was a small scale celebration of this festival in my campus. More specifically, at the south-east side of the campus compound, the Yunnan Garden. There were alot of activities going on there, origami, riddles guessing, performance, mooncake (the "bing pi" type) making and games. It was a fun night, a great night where we caught up with friends...

Yesterday, we went to the Mid-Autumn Lantern Carnival at Chinese Garden. The theme for this year is "A journey to the World Wonders. Promise a fascinating encounter". Tickets were sold at SGD 10 per adult. After getting our tickets, the journey began...
