Another movie that I watched few days ago...

Initially I thought it was just like other no-brainers movies, just for laugh and will be forgotten the next day. Man I was wrong! It is more than just something to laugh at, it is something for us to think about, about what do we want actually in our life.

Everyone needs a break, and Michael Newman (played by Adam Sandler) here gets the break that he wants (or so he thought) when he laid his hands on this Universal Remote Control that can control the universe! Anytime that he feels like he wants to fast forward and or skip the specific moment, all he needs to do is just "click" and boom, he is where (when) he wants to be. So without realising it, he has come to the late stage of his life, where he is old and his son is married, his father died and his wife, divorced from him and happily married again...

Takeaways...
"I do not want to miss any minute of my life!"
This is said by Michael, when he realises that the remote control is taking control over him, and he actually misses those moments that he "fast-forwarded" before. Every moment of our life is valuable and unique, so we better make sure that we live every minute and every second of our life before it is gone..

Michael is a workaholic, and it is through the remote control that he sees where his life is going if he continues to be work-centred. He might lose his wife (whom he loves very much), his children (who are dissappointed because he keeps making empty promises to them) and the last chance to tell his father how he loves him so much (whom he will be too busy to see)...

This is a good movie, which hits our mind: What are we looking for in our life?
