EXAM!!!

Amid this tight schedule, I still managed to find time to visit the IT Fair @ Suntec City. Went with a bunch of friends, but we were looking for different things. Luke and I planned to buy a camera for us (he said that is a present from him to us...*sweet*....hee..) while the others were looking for external hard disks and MP3 players etc. Can you imagine 160GB of memory space is not enough for them?? They are talking about 500 GB or even 900GB!!! (FYI, 1000GB is 1 terabyte). Or maybe it is just me, nothing specific that I wanted to collect, except for some movies that I love very much, like "Love Actually" (a must watch, and my all-time favourite) and the cartoons from the Ghibli Studio. Couple with some songs and photos, they all add up to less than 70GB. I think I would not be able to remember what I have in my hard disk if I have such a huge memory space...

Anyway, there was a huge crowd at the fair, very huge. You can see a lot of people carrying their treasures out from the fair, with the "I-got-a-great-bargain" expression written all over their face. Hmm...can we find what we want from here?

We began to collect brochures from the counters which sell digicam. I did not know that Casio produces cameras as well, they are good for their digital watches though. Nikon has always been on my mind. I tell myself that if I am going to get a digicam, it has got to be a Nikon. Maybe it is the influence from my brother. According to him, his friend said the best digicam is a Nikon. And based on my experience of using digicam (not a lot, but I handled Panasonic, Sony, Olympus and of course Nikon), I still prefer Nikon. The good and bad of each of the brand? I am not really sure about that. You can say I am bias, but you cannot deny that Nikon is famous for their cameras and lenses. (=P)

We got ourselves the Nikon Coolpix L11 model. It is a silver camera with a 2.4 inch LCD screen. I have yet to experiment with all the functions and modes of the model, but I am loving it more and more.

My table, "Indoor Mode", without the flash

My hall, "Night Mode"
I am really amazed by how the digicam captures the lights and details into the picture. I do not have to worry about different effect after taking the picture. It captures exactly the same effect as how I look at the scene, the soft light, defined structure. AMAZING!
I'm lovin it (Sorry McD, this is not for you, but for Nikon!)
Happy! Wish I could start clicking away with my new-found treasure...
