Final year final sem 6:30 PM

The official starts of my final semester in NTU. Regain the daily routine of waking up early in the morning, preparing myself for endless hours of lessons....

There are three chapters of readings to be studied for tomorrow's seminar. The chapters are way too in-depth. I have difficulty understanding them. Although I studied the chapters before, during my second year second sem, for another module, but I have forgotten most of the things that I understood by then! I really feel the sense of emergency for this sem. Was reading through the course materials to get some idea on how this sem is going to be, it is not going to be a easy one. They say the modules of this sem are the essence of the Accountancy course.

Here I am, at my final year. Can't really believe that I have actually study in Singapore for more than 2 years now. Seems like it was just yesterday that I enter this land, to begin a whole new stage of my life. I am actually quite proud of myself, for making it through the sems, they were relatively more difficult and more challenging than Form 6... But one thing that I regret, is that I did not do well for one of the sem. I am really trying my best, never study so hard before. However, I am still getting average grades....Is it because I did not try my really best? That I did not put in more effort that I should had? It is abit funny, after two years here, that I realise part of the reason for the problem. I need to improve on my English. I can write simple English, like those composition we did in our secondary school. I can't write like an undergraduate, like a person who is going to step into the working society soon... This is the thing that I need to work on, besides focusing on my core subjects. This is my new year resolution (the first resolution that I have ever set).

Here I am. Typing in this blog, and not reading the chapters that are awaiting me...

To all the people whose lesson is going to start (or started already), がんばりますよ (ganbarimasuyo)!! Have a wonderful sem!

And for those final year student, enjoy the last bit of your undergraduate life! Cheers!
