This is the 3rd week I am here in Sandusky.
Everyday seems like a normal day, but everyday something different happened.
There were days when I feel excited to work, and those are the days when I received tips from the guests for making the rooms. Sometimes when the guests left some food behind (with the seal unbroken), they made my day too as the food belongs to me then. I found some cookies and chips before and still looking forward for new things for me to discover whenever I enter into a new room.
There were also days when I just did not feel motivate to clean any rooms at all due to the disastrous messy condition the room is in. There are biscuits crumbs, bread crumbs and chips crumb all over the place, on the sink, under the bed, on the table and in those unreachable corners behind the fridge! REally had no idea how these things ended up where they are.
The summer is really near now as the weather is becoming HOT. The park is getting crowded which means more business to the hotels and this means more rooms to be made and this translates to more job for us to do ( Yeay for the money and boohoo for the workload). Think my muscle is toning up as I flip the linen, wipe the glass, the windows and move the mattresses for at least 9 times a day! Again, doing housechores is really a good exercise (thanks mom).
One unforgettable memory is I was approached by the security officer which is a qualified police officer. It all started with a bottle of nearly empty hard liquor bottle. Was walking back to my hostel the other day and I saw this nice liquor bottle. Thinking the bottle is kind cute, I decided to bring the bottle back with me, little did I know that I am also bringing big trouble back with me.
I left the bottle on the dining table in the apartment and we all went inside to one of the room and we started talking. Suddenly my other housemate (Diana) said that there were 2 police officer outside of our apartment. Few seconds later, another knock on the door and we saw the face of the police officer! He was stainding right outside our room, not outside of the apartment. We did not have any idea of what is going on and what is going to happen. He instructed all of us to come out from the room and go to the living room. Then we know. He asked whose liquor is that and I have to raise my hand. He wanted to check if I am above 21 as one have to be above 21 to opossess any alcohol in the State of Ohio. After that he said that we are not allowed to have hard liquor in the unit, when I thought it is perfectly ok to have as long as we do not offer the alcohol to people under 21. The officer was nice and he gave me another chance. He poured the alcohol down the sink and left the empty bottle beside the trash can. I was so scared! I thought he is going to detain me and ask me alot of questions and I will be fired! I am not going to bring anything back anymore.....

My muscles are stiff nowadays. Wake up early morning feeling muscle ache. Going to Chicago on 5th June, it is a trip organized by the HR Depat for the employees of CP. Think it is going to be very fun =]
And I have finally resolved the problem of the wireless, it is due to the proxy setting of NTU. Now I have unchecked the proxy thing and everything is back to normal, except for the add-ons, still have no idea of what they are and how I am going to fix them.
It is my birthday tomorrow (USA time) so wish me Happy Birthday ba ("p) Thanks for the wishes from my friends.
This will be the second time I spend my birthday in places other than my hometown and where I am studying. The first time was at Redang, spent my 20th birthday there by the super nice and gorgeous beach. And now I am at the other side of the world....ahaha
Erm, I have tried a few of the rides in the park, and thse in Genting is nothing compared to those here. Those here really challenge the limit. I rode on the Millenium Force, Corkscrew, Mantis (a standing roller coaster) and Raptor. The Millenium Force and Raptor are my fav.
That's all for now, forgotten most of the things that I wanted to say. Check out my pictures ba...hehe
Take care folks!
